Verdict

Tor is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and though he's been out of form he's dropped 20lb in the ratings since the start of the season. KAIZER hasn't had much racing but looked like winning over the track and trip in July when sent to the front 2f out. He couldn't quite hold on but had scored over hurdles on his previous start and may be capable of further improvement. Stormin Tom gained the eighth victory of his career at Ripon last month, though then ran poorly at Catterick, but Corton Lad followed a victory on this track with another good run on heavy going at Hamilton. Remember The Days, a winner over hurdles, does better over shorter than this on the Flat while Battle Of Marathon is on a long losing run, though on his lowest ever mark as a consequence.
