    Verdict

John Dunlop's Bombadero has shown promise in maidens of late but has yet to win a race and is not certain to handle the underfoot conditions so looks best left out of calculations with more solid claims held by Jeremy Noseda's Regal Park, who looks to be going the right way but might just be a shade high in the weights. Sir Mark Prescott's Comedy Act handled cut in the ground perfectly well when successful over course and distance last month and he has to be respected racing off a 7lb higher mark here, making more appeal than John Gosden's Zigato, who has shown progressive form on the Polytrack of late but has yet to race on turf. SHUBAAT could not have been more impressive for Michael Jarvis when making a winning debut in a Doncaster maiden in June, is bred to handle plenty of cut, and he can make winning start in a handicap off a mark of 86.
