Verdict

If he turns up here after his entry at Musselburgh on Friday then MANDARIN SPIRIT has very strong claims and he can win this from a good mark, with the yard's runners in cracking form. Monte Mayor One loves it here and could push him close, despite being thoroughly exposed, while old boy River Falcon seems to reserve his best for the minimum trip. This distance and track suit Reach For The Sky, and with his claimer up, Alan Berry's gelding could present the biggest danger to our selection. Mandarin Spirit can gain further reward for his consistency.
