Somewhere Secret, engaged here yesterday, would have to carry 11lb overweight if turned out again quickly but Arecibo’s third at York has been franked and he holds Camacho Chief and Foolaad on that run. Maygold had been going well in handicaps prior to running in a Listed race at Salisbury and is much respected with conditions to suit but INTENSE ROMANCE may have the class to defy joint top weight. She’s not been at her best this year but was winning Listed races on soft going around this time last year and cheekpieces could have the desired effect. Powerallied does all of his winning at Chester.
