Verdict

An excellent renewal with BEST SOLUTION taken to score in the hope he returns to action in full flow - or something close. The Godolphin entry delivered three successive Group 1 wins last autumn before coming home a respectable eighth of 24 behind his owner's Cross Counter in the Melbourne Cup last November. His yard have regularly proved their ability to ready one after a break and he's preferred to Sun Maiden. The Stoute filly, handled in typically patient fashion, landed Listed and Group 3 races this term before a respectable fourth behind Deirdre in the Group 1 Nassau Stakes. She should be a player back in Group 3 company. Prince Of Arran and Thundering Blue have claims at their best and it's dangerous to ignore lightly-raced Royal Line for John Gosden.
