Verdict

A cracking contest in which all have a worthy claim and the choice is STREAMLINE in the hope the Due Diligence colt will benefit from a first start over 6f. He posted an excellent third in the Roses Stakes at York and is definitely going the right way. Huraiz and Melodic Charm defend unbeaten records but greater dangers lurk in the form of Sun Power, very much of interest reverting to this trip and especially Aroha. The Meehan filly is still a maiden but has placed form in Group 3 sprints and was not disgraced behind Earthlight at Deauville last time at the very top level. Oh Purple Reign and Lexington Rebel strengthen the Hannon challenge further and are preferred in that order.
