In depth

Verdict

Morning Skye was due to run here last night. SEA YOUMZAIN overcame a tardy start to win in style on her handicap debut at Nottingham. There is a slight doubt regarding stamina over this longer trip but she is by Sea The Stars so has every chance of getting home. Podemos pulled well clear with an odds-on favourite over this trip at Chepstow and looks a danger making his debut in handicaps but Jack Regan beat little of note at Salisbury. Night Story disappointed on his Turf debut but Star Of Southwold beat a subsequent winner at Newmarket before running in the Derby Trial at Lingfield and will appreciate this seemingly easier task.
