Verdict

Fareeq has been raised a further 4lb for finishing second at Goodwood in October. But he’s having his first start since and MJJACK is preferred. The latter won in testing ground at Doncaster three weeks ago with Lady In Question back in fifth and should go close again. Letmestopyouthere drops in class and may finish closer as a consequence while Epsom maiden winner Maldonado returns to action with a 7lb claimer helping his cause having joined Mick Easterby. Sir Reginald Brown made a winning start and this is an easier task than his handicap debut at York last month.
