In depth
Verdict
Locombe Hill and Pinchbeck are two to consider in this tight handicap, Fonthill Road is in top form at present and if he runs in this contest rather than the 3.10 he would have a tremendous chance, we will give the verdict to Hard To Catch..Dean Ivory¿s gelding is holding his form well, he has come up against the progressive Parkhill Pursuit on his last two outings and hasn't been beaten far. He was previously successful at Brighton and Folkestone and could return to winning ways today. Locombe Hill put up a creditable performance over course and distance last time, he had to be switched round the field and made good late ground on the stands side for fourth place in a very competitive handicap, he will be a big threat to the selection. Pinchbeck disappointed at Doncaster last time, but has to be respected on his previous outing when beating Prince Hector at Yarmouth, however Hard To Catch is the most consistent performer in the field and can get back to winning ways
