Bedrock was placed in a Grade 1 novice event over hurdles at Aintree before a promising return to the Flat at Doncaster when ahead of Uber Cool. He races off the same mark here but may benefit from a step up in distance. MELINOE (NAP) never stopped improving once tackling distances in excess of 1m4f last year. His stable has a terrific strike-rate here and further progress this season is anticipated. Inn The Bull has won three times on the all-weather this year but I'm A Believer was due to run last night at Ripon. Amlad and Cape Caster may do better with this run under their belt.
