Verdict
MONT KINABALU (NAP) has only gone up a pound since completing a double over course and distance last month. He looks the type to do just enough and is fancied to complete the hat-trick. Maypole is an improving filly and can’t be ignored but she has been raised 5lb since scoring at Wolverhampton. Maverick Officer and Ulshaw Bridge both took on stronger opposition last time but Legal History has been done no favours by the handicapper raised 4lb since his second at Goodwood. Dragons Tail wore a visor when out of his depth here last month and cheekpieces are tried today. Escalator doesn’t look up to this level.
