        Verdict

        Pitbull appreciated the drop back to one mile last time when finishing runner up behind Sacrilege and Geraldine Rees's gelding can gain his first victory of the season. He tends to make life difficult for himself by being slow away but he should be thereabouts with ground conditions in his favour. Wovoka is the obvious danger to Pitbull. He continues to run consistently well off his current mark and a win is in the pipeline although whether he requires conditions as testing as the stated 'heavy' is debatable. Musca is one with place claims but needs to step up while She's Our Lass has appeared a non-stayer on her two outings over ten furlongs and this drop back to a mile will be more in her favour. Pitbull is the pick to land what hopefully will be the lucky last.
