Verdict
Black Frost, The Kew Tour and Janus du Cochet are the principles in this novices' chase and the confident vote goes to the last named. The 7-year-old beat Bak To Bill in facile fashion last time and although he has a penalty for that win, with conditions again in his favour he will be hard to beat. Black Frost is a course and distance winner that could go well but he was slightly disappointing last time behind L'Aventura, so is opposed for that reason. The Kew Tour is a stable companion of Black Frost and he was a fair second behind Silver Knight last time, but he will need to improve on that effort to defeat the confident selection Janus du Cochet.
