A tight looking handicap in which Abi Scarlet, three times a winner at Southwell, has her first start on Turf. Gabrial's Bounty won on heavy ground at Pontefract last month but is now 10lb higher after another very good run in a better race at Chester. Grizzle returned to action with a fine run at Yarmouth and can't have been right at York where he finished last. Amadeus Wolfe Tone is looking a few pounds high but Ebony Clarets made a promising reappearance at Leicester and must be a threat from the same mark. Strada Facendo is the type to do well in his second season and a big run is expected but this can go to DOS AMIGOS. Michael Dods' colt reappeared with a hard-fought success in a Thirsk maiden and hasn't been done any favours by the assessor but there's plenty more to come and he can take this before going on to better things.
