Verdict
Medison gets the call here ahead of Adjawar and Reel Missile. The Martin Pipe-trained selection is a French import who was unbeaten in two starts on the Flat, those wins coming on good to soft and over 12 furlongs. In a nutshell, he looks a likely type and is another factor behind the reasoning in why we are siding with him today. Turning to the others. Migration has shown reasonable form at this level, but was six-and-a-half lengths behind Adjawar at Wetherby last time when they were third and fifth behind Nyrche. Fight The Feeling has won here on the Flat but was modest overall and mainly better on the all-weather in that sphere. Lutin du Moulin is a French chase winner who should rate better than his British debut over course and distance last time. Reel Missile has won two from three in bumpers and certainly rates a very interesting recruit to the jumping game. New Zealand import Stonewall George, who is now with Jonjo O'Neill, showed some promise on his British debut and has shown a liking in the past for soft going. Overall, though, Medison has the right sort of profile for a prospective successful Martin Pipe-trained hurdler, and he gets the vote.
