In depth

Verdict

Brankley Boy, Cloudy Lane and Livingonaknifedge are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters with the confident vote going to Brankley Boy. The selection won well last time out when beating Emmasflora and although having a penalty for that win he won with a little in hand and he is taken to defy the handicapper under conditions that suit. Cloudy Lane rates the main danger on his latest second behind Ile Maurice but although he has won over this trip the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over further and for that reason he is opposed. Livingonaknifedge won well last time out when beating Gardasee but he has yet to prove he stays this trip. Oscar Park is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks weighted up to his best. Of the remainder Tous Chez hails from a yard that does well in this event and could go well at a price while Boulders Beach is another that will relish the longer trip but he looks the stables second string on jockey bookings and with this in mind for the winner we return to Brankley Boy.
