Verdict

Plenty to consider with a number of top trainers represented; the suggestion is SLEEPING WOLF with Shaabek, Lexi's Hero and Uptown Guy other notables with experience but a market check is essential. The Richard Hannon trained colt shaped with a modicum of promise in a Salisbury maiden won by Group winner Approve and the form has also received a boost with the second also successful since; some of those in between haven't done too much but Sleeping Wolf can be expected to improve for the experience and go well. Shaabek stepped up on his debut effort to chase home a decent prospect at Ascot whilst Lexi's Hero has shown a consistent level of form on all three starts. Uptown Guy shaped well at Newcastle but the winner has been comfortably held in a nursery since then to suggest that the form is nothing out of the ordinary. Peters Spirit is another well worth a mention whilst Shropshire and Chosen Character make plenty of appeal on paper and have to be considered in an intriguing maiden where Sleeping Wolf is a nominal pick ahead of a look at the betting.
