IMPERIAL FORCE finished a creditable third in the Norfolk Stakes at Ascot last month and looks the one to beat back over this extra furlong. Solent Gateway was beaten only a neck at Chepstow on his debut while Cairn Island represents last year’s winning yard and drops down in trip but Rolfe Rembrandt disappointed at Doncaster last time. The 210,000gns purchase Rhythm Master is preferred to Sunset Glow and Red Right Sand of the newcomers.
