Verdict

What An Angel got going too late at Sandown after going close at Bath but he has proved frustrating to follow. Party Island was a winner over 7f here last time but the hat-trick seeking Little Ted makes more appeal despite a further 3lb rise. Oso Rapido has claims if fully wound-up and Productive is another likely to be in the firing-line but SPLINTER gets cheekpieces for the first time and has been gelded since placing at Newcastle and Pontefract last month – he can make a winning start in handicaps.
