Verdict

BOB AND CO can repeat last year’s victory in this following a break. Winner of last year’s Champion Hunters Chase at Punchestown, he is being targeted at Cheltenham next month and will need to win this to give supporters hope that he can make amends for an unlucky run at The Festival last season. This may be too far for Drumconnor Lad but Overworkdunderpaid has won his last two between the flags, though has a mountain to climb at the weights. Cousin Pascal won the Foxhunters’ at Aintree last April but was a bit disappointing when only second at Hereford recently.
