Verdict
Newera ran on successive days at Chester at the start of the month. He won the first occasion but only beat one home 24 hours later. Baadi made all when odds-on for a maiden at Windsor and is lightly-raced. He'll probably try similar tactics here but a fast pace would suit Hubertas, who has run well in both starts this year, and Frederic Chopin, who stays further. TAMAYUZ MAGIC (NAP) was second on his reappearance at Pontefract and then won a shade cosily stepping up to 1m4f at Thirsk. Admirably consistent, a 5lb rise is by no means excessive and he can win again under promising claimer Nathan Evans.
