Verdict
PRINCESS RAINBOW gets the verdict here, ahead of Agilete and Lilac Moon. Jennie Candlish's filly won last time out, over course and distance in a handicap with Jack Dean on board then. That form has since been franked with a number of winners coming out of the race. She's the only course and distance winner in the field, and the yard's only runner on the night. She's lightly raced, but her best form has come with a little jice in the ground. Agilete is Jeff Pearce's only runner too, but has done most of his good work on the all-weather, with his four career wins coming at Wolverhampton. Lilac Moon is another sole representative from her yard; well beaten on her seasonal debut, she completed a hat-trick last summer, and may bowl off from the front to attempt to make all. Astronomical is having his first run for nearly three years, and first outing for Reg Hollinshead, so any support in the ring would be interesting, but we'll side with Princess Rainbow.
