Verdict

Three-year-olds have won the last two of these and BIG THUNDER looks set to make it a hat-trick. He's thrived on the fast ground in recent weeks and though only narrowly beating Salutation at Bath he looked to have something in hand. The runner-up is trained by Mark Johnston who has Ofcoursewecan entered here but he's been badly out of form since scoring at Beverley in April. Tajheez scored on Polytrack then completed a double on soft ground here. He ran poorly when tackling good going at Newmarket and may need some rain. Barton Bounty has won twice at Ayr in recent weeks and though up 4lb he's run well from this mark in the past.
