Verdict

Doncaster winner Lesha went very close in soft going over track and trip last time but has yet to encounter fast ground. He'll be in the mix if handling today's surface but EMEF DIAMOND looks a safer bet. It was good to firm when Mick Channon's charge was only beaten a length at Nottingham in April and he can effectively race off a lower mark with the useful apprentice Charlie Bishop claiming 3lb. Polytrack winner Sbraase posted a better effort last time but Voyageofdiscovery may prove a bigger threat on his handicap debut if staying the longer trip. El Beau and Desert Society should be winning again this year but both will be sharper with today's outing under their belts.
