Verdict
Nells Son has yet finish out of the first two and Lebowski is 2-2 over hurdles but it’s difficult to look beyond JONBON, even though he is conceding weight all round. Never in any danger when completing a four-timer in a Grade 2 at Ascot last month, Nicky Henderson’s six-year-old could see his odds for the Supreme Novices’ contract further with another convincing victory. Donny Boy is also unbeaten but steps out of maiden company while Might I was no match for the selection’s stable companion Constitution Hill at Sandown. Richmond Lake will enjoy the ground but his long-term future probably lies over 3m and Pikar may need more time.
