      Verdict

      The step up in trip could provide the key to help Kristalchen to get off the mark. Handicap debutante Wujood and the unexposed Plenty Cried Wolf can give the selection the most to think about. The latter handles soft ground and shapes as if a step up in trip will suit in time. However, he will be stepping into the unknown near the finish and it is a little bit of a guessing game as to whether he will truly stay at this stage. Wujood also has something to prove on that score and, as the handicapper has taken no chances with him, he may have to wait for another day. Therefore, the vote goes to Kristalchen, who has already proved herself capable on the ground. She is a well-bred type whose paddocks value will be boosted through the roof if she is successful tonight.
