      Verdict

The Newmarket run of Abbielou looks the strongest form on offer at this stage and the daughter of Bertolini gets the nod over Bathwick Prince and Miss Maxi, while Out Of The Ordinary is one to bear in mind out of the debutantes. Abbielou is related to several useful performers on the continent and will get further in time. However, she showed plenty of dash at headquarters and gave the impression that she already knows a fair bit about what is required of her. This stiff finish is not expected to be a problem for her and she is very much the one to beat. Bathwick Prince also ran with promise at Nottingham and should find a race somewhere along the line. His yard are flying at the moment and he can at least make the frame with normal improvement. Miss Maxi has course experience to her name and is worth keeping tabs on in the betting, whereas Out Of The Ordinary is bred to be effective at sprint distances and could easily be the surprise package of the race. However, Abbielou makes more appeal after her pleasing debut at the Craven meeting and is expected deliver the good this time around.
