Verdict

Hawkhill is set a demanding test off topweight against a number of unexposed types who may well prove notably better than current handicap marks suggest. HONOUR SYSTEM, Moujik Borget and Quick Decisson fall into that category, although all three have absences of varying lengths to overcome. However, the former was a talented animal on the level for Saeed Bin Suroor and hacked up last time in an admittedly low-class affair at Newton Abbot. He does have to improve on achievements to date but has an undoubted touch of class and could be especially well treated. Ubaldo Des Menhies, on his second start for Jonjo O'Neill, and Nicky Henderson's seasonal debutant Golden Hoof are others to note.
