    In depth

    Verdict

Luci Di Mezzanotte landed an ordinary Wetherby hurdle in the late spring before disappointing when turned over at odds-on at Fontwell in June. Not seen since, she has a challenge to handle three interesting recruits to hurdling, all of whom have shown promise to differing degrees in bumper company, as well as being asked to concede weight all round. KAYFLEUR battled on well to justify favouritism at Warwick this month and receives 10lb from the topweight with jockey allowance taken into account. She can make a winning hurdling debut here for her in-form yard. Taffy Dare and Woodland Walk both have shown hope for the future and more is expected of both hailing as they do from good yards, with the latter nominated as the main threat to the selection.
