Verdict
Babajan was generally progressive on Turf last year until encountering soft going at Goodwood. He won twice on the all-weather in January, though is probably a little exposed now. Menai Bridge is 0-5 on Turf but has won twice on Polytrack and Cuban Dancer has gone close a couple of times on Tapeta. Desert History won over 7f at the track last year and Mojandil will be a better for a pipe-opener at Nottingham. The Dubawi filly BRUNNERA promises to do much better now switched to handicaps. An opening mark of 73 could be lenient and she also wears headgear for the first time.
