Verdict

6f winner Marford Missile steps up in trip and breeding suggests it should be no problem but Half A Billion is proven over today's distance and won at Musselburgh three weeks ago. He should figure again but LADY LAYLA makes more appeal as she won two of her four starts last season, both over 7f, and there should be more to come from Bryan Smart's filly this year. Boots And Spurs disappointed last time having won on the Polytrack before that while Xinbama popped-up on the all-weather last time but is hardly the most consistent. Passionada is lightly-raced and worth keeping an eye on for the future.
