Verdict

Off The Pulse won a maiden at Wolverhampton last time but Kohlaan won a handicap at Warwick on his latest start and makes more appeal. Surround Sound took advantage of his slide down the weights at Redcar recently but has shot straight back up the handicap with a 9lb rise. Corn Snow and Polar Chief both disappointed last time having won their penultimate starts and it could pay to stick with STEPPING AHEAD in this. Elaine Burke's charge won doing handstands at Pontefract on Tuesday and a 6lb penalty looks unlikely to prevent him recording a quick double.
