Verdict

Although Mark Twain has conditions to suit there is plenty of doubt that he will get home over this far and we will take him on with guaranteed stayer STAN'S COOL CAT. Paul Cole's filly won a soft ground Newbury handicap over this trip in 2009 but then struggled from higher marks in that grade. She was down the field at that same track on her recent reappearance but she should find this much easier now dropping into a seller and is selected. Munaawer fits a similar sort of profile now trying this grade for the first time, though he has not shown any form on soft ground thus far, which is offputting. Rockweiller may be best of the other trio on this going but Stan's Cool Cat gets the verdict.
