    Verdict

CHEDDLETON landed his first two chases but has failed to add to his tally in eight subsequent starts. However, he is a course and distance winner, continues to perform with credit and a good run is expected against opponents with a question mark or two. Pay The Piper has been a fine servant to the Hamiltons but has yet to really spark this season and Daly Tiger has little strong form to his name on his most recent starts, although he does take a major drop in class here and could be of interest. Real Stone should improve for his seasonal reappearance and is respected without having pulled up any trees since going chasing. Fearless is 1-9 over fences but usually runs his race and could handle this step back to Class 3 company receiving useful weight from all rivals.
