Verdict
Richard Guest's mission of mercy to ride Edredon Bleu on Boxing Day left luckless Temple Dog without a jockey for his engagement at Wetherby. We'll back him to make amends on Saturday aboard this highly promising horse. Argento would probably struggle to give him 4lb on a quicker surface but it looks an incredibly tall order on softer ground. Crimson Pirate was well supported before his hurdles bow in November but will need to show improved form on a different surface today. Jodante is well regarded by connections and any market support should not be ignored.
