Verdict

It was soft ground at Salisbury when MIN ALEMARAT chased home subsequent handicap winner Wrangler. That form looks pretty solid so Marco Botti's colt could prove the one to be on in the opener. Rocket Ship finished a bit closer at Thirsk last time when Ronald Gee was well beaten but Conquerant's third to Gold Approach at Lingfield last week is stronger form. The Godolphin colt looks a threat and Fine Vintage may also figure on his placed effort on the all-weather back in November. Race To Glory has proved disappointing so far.
