        Verdict

        Baby Run looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account over hurdles and is taken to score at the main expense of Sharp Jack and Harmony Brig. The last mentioned was staying on well when unseating his rider at the final flight behind the useful Rebel Rhythm on his hurdling debut here last month and has to be respected in what looks to be a weaker race. George Moore's Spring Gamble has shown a consistent level of form over timber and is another to consider although a bigger threat may come from Sharp Jack. The Richard Phillips-trained gelding made a winning return at Uttoxeter last month and is less exposed than some of his rivals. Lascar de Ferbet is probably the best of the remainder but this really should go to Baby Run, who is hard to oppose. The four-year-old had some decent form in bumpers last season and the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained gelding has done little wrong since being switched to hurdles this winter with seconds at Bangor and Cheltenham reading well in the context of this race. A reproduction of form shown in either of those races should suffice.
