In depth
Verdict
Kassala has proved herself a thoroughly genuine and consistent performer and is the TEAMtalk selection to gain another deserved success. The Alan King-trained mare remains fairly treated on her Stratford win in June (2lb higher here) and has put together a string of placed efforts since. Ideally suited by both trip and ground, the six-year-old should give another good account. New Bird is on an attractive mark but is perhaps best watched following a near five-month absence while Moon Glow is likely to struggle under a 7lb penalty for a narrow Plumpton victory late last month.
