Verdict
Not a strong race by any means and it could pay to side with Pharaway Citizen who has shown enough of late to suggest he can win a race of this nature after finishing placed in his last two starts. Chater Flair, a modest staying handicapper on the level, could provide the main danger after a fair effort to chase home Northern Tennessee on his hurdling bow at Market Rasen recently. Dual winning pointer Dat My Horse has to enter calculations on his return to hurdling after falling at the second when fancied in a Hunters Chase last time while Pontius is lightly raced and may be open to some improvement.
