In depth
Verdict
Another moderate affair in which Taming is beginning to look very well treated on the pick of his old form but he has clearly had his training difficulties and did not show enough on his comeback at Stratford to warrant support here. Egypt, a modest all-weather winner on the level, is still a maiden over hurdles but has shown some consistency and can't be ruled out while Anatar has shown little in novice company but may do better off a low mark on his handicap debut. Marginal preference is for Jandal who has also yet to greet the judge but ran her best race for some time when runner-up in a seller over course and distance last month and may make the most of the weight concession from her main rivals.
