Verdict
Fieldsofclover has a decent weight and gets the vote over Barton Flower, with Brooklyn's Gold best of the rest. Fieldsofclover has had just three outings since coming over from Ireland and on his last two outings has displayed stamina limitations. With that in mind, the drop back to today's trip is just the ticket, and as he is well treated compared to his mark over hurdles, a first success for his new stable looks very much on the cards. He gets plenty of weight from his main rivals including Barton Flower who went close on a few occasions over timber without scoring. She has scope at the age of five and comes from a stable that does well with its chasers, so is one to note for the future if not today. Brooklyn's Gold showed some promise when second over fences at Bangor in February, but might find the ground too lively. For the winner we return to Filedsofclover.
