    Verdict

Bernard Llewellyn looks to hold a strong hand in this poor contest being represented by both Sonnengold and Hidden Talents, with the former looking the pick of the pair and getting the vote over Monroe Gold. The last mentioned ran better in this grade at Uttoxeter last time and on a similar surface he has to be respected. Penric has given little cause for optimism despite being dropped into this grade, while Endless Night has similarly been well held in similar contests of late and is hard to recommend. The vote then goes to Sonnengold who has run with credit in better races than this in the past and she gets the vote in the hope that she is fit enough for her return to take advantage of the drop in class.
