Verdict
A weak looking finale can see Honey's Gift get recent losses back, with Burning Shore, She's Our Native and Crazy Mazie others to consider. Honey's Gift was sent off as favourite at Chepstow on her last start under Tony McCoy but after making good headway turning for home, was found wanting for finishing speed. She has a longer trip to tackle here, which might just help her lose that maiden tag. She's Our Native is learning the game still and has some scope, but she was well beaten when pulled up last time and cannot be backed with confidence at present. Crazy Mazie was going as well as anything two out at Huntingdon three weeks ago, but failed to see out the trip and will be suited by the slight drop back in distance here. She should be noted if there is any money in the ring for her. Burning Shore is going the right way but she has a job on against older rivals. Nevertheless, none of them are world-beaters, and she too could be in the shake up, given that she was one paced over the minimum trip at Fakenham in November. Hardly the most inspiring of getting-out stakes then, but Honey's Gift is the selection.
