Sparkling River got off the mark at Warwick on New Year’s Eve when making her handicap debut. But she’s been raised 8lb for that and INDIAN NATIVE should give her a run for her money. Alex Hales’ mare will make a chaser but she’s shown promise over timber and a mark of 108 is probably fair. Lutece has been tailed off in all three starts since finishing second at Newbury just under a year ago and Deja Bougg has had a few chances and is only slowly slipping down the weights.
