In depth

Verdict

Dormouse is really solid and consistent but the latest rise imposed by the handicapper may just be too much on this occasion. Charlie Longsdon has his string in fine fettle and it may be worth chancing BUN OIR, who had achieved little since joining the yard from Ireland before a much-improved effort last time, beaten just over five lengths in a decent Kempton handicap hurdle. He occupies a tempting mark and gets the vote. Crazy Bold delivered his best effort for some time when filling the minor placing behind Gifted Leader last weekend at Stratford and will be involved if repeating that run, while Lean Burn is interesting if ready after a break.
