Getaway Cory is now 0-19 but has placed in his last three starts. Something may have been amiss with POTTLERATH at Newton Abbot last month and he would have every chance in a race like this if recapturing the form he showed in the spring. Red Maple won over hurdles in May and over fences in August so also goes on the shortlist but Ranco will have stamina to prove over this trip. Stripe Of Honour won over further at Worcester in July and is preferred to Miss Bamby of the others.
