In depth

Verdict

MASKADA was no match for a progressive four-year-old at Catterick after winning earlier at Newbury and has been raised another 2lb. But her yard is back in form and she should have the beating of rivals who all have a bit to prove at present. Hijran would need to have improved for recent wind surgery while Undisputed is racing under Rules for the first time since 2018. Strike Hollow makes his handicap debut but probably needs further, though is still preferred to French import Sacre Coeur.
