Winning point-to-pointer COQOLINO would have been expected to have lost his maiden tag over timber by now after his second to the exciting Bob Olinger in a Gowran bumper. He dropped back to this trip when runner-up to the well-supported Alko Rouge here last month and should get off the mark. El Barra easily landed a Thurles bumper then burst a blood vessel at Leopardstown before making a couple of costly errors when tackling 2m3f at Naas. He has plenty of scope for further progress and looks a big threat. The remainder with form have shown very little though Effernock Manor was staying on over 2m4f at Leopardstown on Sunday and a strong gallop would play to his strengths.
