In depth

Verdict

Not that strong a race and Wave Rock, better known as a chaser, has every chance off this lower hurdles mark. If fit after a lay off, Distant Storm could prove a danger. A winner off 111 three years, he is obviously not as good as he was, but he is still more than capable, and will be well handled by his pilot. Queen's Pageant, a useful mare on the flat, is lightly raced over hurdles and is open to improvement. A course and distance winner, she appreciated the step up to this trip last time, and will make them all go.
