    Verdict

Red Rock declined a meeting with the in-form Jolly Roger at Newton Abbot last week and Tony Carroll's charge went on to complete his four-timer by 15 lengths. This, however, looks a much tougher proposition under a further 7lb penalty. Dukes Art has become expensive to follow but Acapulco Bay has won twice over this C&D since the turn of the year while Numen and Xenophon can't be ruled out. McCoy partners Dubawi Dancer for Jim Best but it's another four-year-old, STATE SENATOR, who catches the eye. He settled much better when third to Captain Brown, who runs in the opener, at Huntingdon last time and has a decent chance at the weights here if he has turned the corner.
